Who we are

NOEMA is a mood-based city discovery app for iPhone, published on the App Store by Ashwaq Abdullah, based in Saudi Arabia. For privacy questions, please reach us through the Support page.

In short

• NOEMA does not require an account, and you do not need to give us your name, email or phone number to use it.
• The current version of the app does not send personal data to NOEMA servers.
• The app's App Store privacy label reads “Data Not Collected.”

Information stored on your device

To remember your preferences, the app saves the following only on your device:

• the city you selected,
• your language (Arabic or English),
• the places you saved,
• whether you have already chosen a city.

This information is not sent to us. Deleting the app removes it.

Location

When you open the Discover screen, the app asks for permission to use your location while you are using the app. If you allow it, your location is used on your device to sort places by distance and show those nearest to you. The current version does not send your location to NOEMA or store it.

Location is optional. If you decline, the rest of the app works normally. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → NOEMA → Location.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

The current version of the app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Services you choose to open

• Maps: when you tap to open a place, it opens in Google Maps. Google's privacy policy applies there.
• WhatsApp: if you contact us through WhatsApp from the app, we receive your phone number, your WhatsApp profile details and the content of your message. WhatsApp's privacy policy applies to the service itself. [how long you keep these messages and what you use them for]
• App Store: downloads and updates are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.

This website

noema.city does not use cookies or analytics. It saves your language choice in your browser's local storage so the site opens in the same language next time. The site is hosted by [hosting provider], which may process technical data such as IP addresses in server logs [confirm, and state how long logs are kept].
